THE FLORENCE ROYALS
Florence has long played off it's reputation as Alabama's
"Renaissance City" and the association with aristocracy seemed like a logical yet
creatively original fit. Our very own Jill Glover coined the name and we will continue
to expand on the concept further in our program through awards, mascots, and
uniforms.
In the following informational pages, you will find references to most anything you
will need to know while participating in this program. Most importantly, though,
all participants will need to be mindful that in order to fully execute plans for the
program, proper development is essential. We depend on you, the students and
parents, to trust us with the continued development of this program. We hope
you will find the program challenging yet rewarding and the benefits of this activity
immeasurable in character and athletic development!
FTCA would not have this program were it not for the continued support of the
families who have been with us over the years. Thank you all so much for trusting
us with the responsibility of caring and instructing our youth of the Shoals and
beyond! We hope the commitment to our students and the integrity of our program
shows through all we do! In this All-Star program, they too (the students), will be
roll models and representatives of our program. We hope to instill the value in that
responsibility and continue to help build strong minds and bodies for the students.
